Watched Dark Knight today. Overall the movie is pretty not bad. Given the sound effects, the thrills, the stuns, the frights, the psychology, the dialogues.
Lets not overinflate something. As psychology student, we must always take a standpoint where it is neutral. Heck, i really don't know about Joker's past. I mean, i don't usually watch DC Comics, but i catch up with the previous Batman episodes when i was a toddler.
I think the movie is good. The scenes, the fights, they are pretty not bad. What i didn't really like was actually Harvey Dent. I mean, he was like a 2 face. If i didn't recall wrongly, he should be one of the villain in Batman as well. Can't remember though. The twist of plot was fantastic, as how good people can turn to bad.
Best part of the movie, the social psychology experiment. I think it was stress-inducing and obedience involved. But hey, guess what? There are still moral people after all. But that is fictional. Given a real scenario, you never know.
I think Batman was FAT. It seems so.
Among all the characters, i like Lucia Fox. He is the man la. Apart where everyone said about Joker, i think he is a pretty nice character. What amused me was his voice. Heath Ledger don't have such voice. But somehow they manage to put it up. Good stuff.
Since IMDB give a 9.5/10 rating, i think i will give a 8/10. Look, there ain't any perfect movie out there la. Plus, they had some screw ups here and there. Love the ending, it was damn cool. Whatever Gordon said was just - fantastic !
This particular section of my blog is dedicated for all the hard work of the movie directors and such. The music, the movies, the stuns, the actions, all salute to them.
Then again, a "little" bit of constructive criticism won't hurt right? =)
